Here’s a list of the exciting events Wolverhampton Music Service are running as part of the West Midlands Big Month of Music March 2020

Monday 2nd March  Wolves Centre Sounds

at the Wolverhampton Music Service Centre Stage, Graiseley – 7pm    Centre Sounds is a great opportunity for a small selection  of our many up and coming musicians to  perform in a concert at our excellent venue at the Music service. Come along and   listen to the talent that Wolverhampton has!

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9th, 10th, 11th March Wolves Sound Series

takes place over three nights on  at Centre Stage Graiseley. This three evening concert series is a chance for our many ensembles to showcase their performances. For full details of who is appearing on which nghts please follow this link.

Thursday 12th March Spotlight Rock ‘n Pop

at the Newhampton Road Arts Centre – . Bands from 4 local West Midlands music services will be showcasing heir rock and pop talents. To learn more and book tickets for this exciting event please follow this link.

Wednesday 18th March Singing Starters

CPD for Primary Teachers Infant Hall Graiseley-  4.30-6.00pm. This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone winvolved in music in Primary schools to learn about how to dvelop singing in their school. For more information and to sign up follow this link.

Tuesday 24th March Singing in the Rain

CPD for primary teachers   Centre Stage, Graiseley – 4.15-5.15pm One of our most popular singing events is Singing in the Rain.

Saturday 28th March  Wolverhampton Music Service Open Rehearsals  

Graiseley – Time TBC This is a brilliant opportunity to vome and see a snapshot of the work we do with ensembles at the Music service. pop along on the 28th to see a selectipon of our groups in rehearsals.

Saturday 28th March “Try Day”

at the Wolverhampton Music Service Graiseley. Our Try Day is a chance for everyone to come along and try out playing instruments or singing. We have activities planned suitable for all ages from early years upwards – no experience needed!!! so come along and see what its like!.Follow this link for more details.

Throughout  March The Big Play 

As well as individual concerts/events we will also be taking part in the Big Play where our work in Whole Class Instrumental teaching will be showcased on the West Midlands music website through videos recorded in schools. Follow this link to learn more
