NYJO Survey for Secondary Music & Instrumental staff – exploring jazz

Mar 6, 2020

Pauline Black (senior lecturer and ensembles coordinator at the University of Aberdeen) and Claire,NYJO  L+P manager, will be hosting a forum session at the APME conference in Edinburgh, focussing on a couple of the emerging themes in jazz music education.

As part of Pauline’s PHD research, she is undertaking a survey of music educators.

This is for secondary classroom music teachers, Instrumental music teachers and anyone who works with secondary age pupils – if you could spare around 15 minutes of your time to complete this survey it would be a great help.

Pauline Black is exploring the learning and teaching of jazz and improvisation with secondary school age learners across the UK. She is interested in getting responses from those experienced in jazz and those who have no experience, so please pass this on to your music teachers.

Any help would be very much appreciated!
