On Saturday 30th April we had our first ever Community Mela celebration of music and dance from the Indian classical and folk traditions.
The Music Service Bhangra Fusion group performed alongside local dancers from Desi Rooh dance academy and performers representing the Harjeet Singh Music Bursary
We had a packed house and full bellies from the Samosas and hospitality of the Friends of Wolverhampton Music Service.
This work is an important part of our aspiration to be a more inclusive Music Service and more representative of the communities in our great city.
