The open call is still live for the annual Summer School; a residential course for young composers and creative musicians aged 14-18. This year’s Summer School will run from 30th July – 5th August 2023 at the Purcell School.
There is just over a month left before the applications close and they wish to reach as many interested young composers as possible.
The Sound and Music Summer School is a residential course that gives young people the opportunity to explore their musical creativity over six days at The Purcell School. The cost is £Free – £500 depending on individual financial circumstances, with bursaries and financial support available. The application deadline is 27th March 2023 at noon. This year they are able to offer applicants the option to answer written questions, or to schedule a 15-20 minute informal Zoom call with the Education team.
