NYO Inspire Orchestra West Midlands: 3 – 12 July 2019

NYO Inspire Orchestra consists of 70 teenage musicians from NYO Inspire projects across the year. They will meet for a six-day rehearsal residential, followed by a four-day concert tour. Performances will take place in four secondary schools, and an arts centre in the West Midlands, where thousands of young people will be given the chance to hear a full orchestra perform live, many no doubt for the first time.

Congratulations to Wolverhampton Music School students Rosalind Fearnehough (Trombone) and Aimée Hanson (Violin) on thier success in the selection process (They have all been on previous residential courses) Musicians are invited to the NYO Inspire Orchestra who have shown that they are committed to continue to progress on their instrument. The 10-day national orchestral residential opportunity will certainly develop their musicianship in a fantastic collaborative environment.
