WMS at the NAC Summer Family Programme in August

Jul 6, 2021

Wolverhampton Music Service is the leading provider of high-quality music education in the city of Wolverhampton. With a team of 28 local staff, the Music Service currently offers training in all aspects of Music Education from early years to secondary school education.

We are delighted to be working with Newhampton Arts Centre during their summer programme for children and families in Whitmore Reans. During the four weeks our work will include ‘Junk Funk’ recycled percussion groups, Indian ‘Dhol family Fusion’, ‘Ukulele Family Play’ and ‘The Big Sing’.

It strengthens the developing partnership with Music Service and NAC which has been an essential venue for the return of Music Service groups. The Head of Music Service, Ciaran O Donnell commented:

“The NAC summer programme is a brilliant initiative for children in Whitmore Reans. The new tent is such an innovative and creative solution to the challenges we’ve seen throughout the past year. It is our privilege to be one for the first organisations to work there.”
