Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra invites musicians to join them on Saturday 29th October 2022 as they spend the day preparing Symphony No.6 by Jean Sibelius. This is an opportunity for any adults or children who would like to experience the joy of playing in a full orchestra. This event takes place in partnership with Wolverhampton Music Service, always supportive of local music making.
The rehearsal will be taking place at Wolverhampton Music School, Graisley Hill, Wolverhampton, WV2 4NE from 10am – 4pm and the format of the day will be:
• 1000 to 1215 – Morning rehearsal
• 1215 to 1330 – Lunch – please bring your own.
(Tea, Coffee and Cake will be provided!)
• 1330 to 1500 – Afternoon rehearsal
• 1515 to 1550 – Play through of the entire symphony
