more Inclusive, Diverse and Equitable Music Education for Black
Pupils in the UK
Natasha Hendry (MA) is a professional singer in the mainstream
music industry, a music educator and a psychology & music PhD
student at the University of West London.
I am seeking to carry out research with
students (Yrs8,9,10), music educators and other invested stakeholders
in music education which will help inform a framework of recommended practice
and pedagogy for a more inclusive and racially-literate music curriculum.
