Applications are now open for The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain 2020

NYO welcomes applications from musicians aged 13-19 who play to Grade 8 standard or equivalent and have a passion for orchestral music. The selected musicians will perform in major concert halls throughout the UK and take part in exciting projects to inspire other young musicians throughout the year. NYO additionally recruits teenage composers. Auditions are friendly, positive, and great learning experiences. NYO Tutors will share playing tips in a workshop, and all applicants will receive performance feedback. Bursaries are available to cover the full cost of a place in the orchestra, plus travel to auditions.
