Rotary National Young Musician Competition 2020 – Wolverhampton Area and Regional Final at WMS

“Music is an international language and we encourage talented young people by providing this opportunity to demonstrate their musical skills.The Rotary National Young Musician Competition is a well-established and successful competition promoted by Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland.
There are two categories, vocal and instrumental, with five stages to the competition, each designed to support and encourage the development of musical talent.
This five stage national competition aims to encourage development of musical talent and offers young people;
* experiance of performing on a public stage
* an opportunity to showcase their musical talent
* impartial feedback of performance by experienced adjudicators.
The competition is open to amateurs in full time education, up to the age of 17. It is not open to full time students of music or performing arts, studying for a qualification above A level”

This year the WMS are hosting the Area Round and District final at our centre stage venue on 2nd February (4.00pm) and District Final on 1st March (3.00pm)
