Apply for ‘mysounds’: youth mentoring scheme in contemporary classical music
Contemporary Music for All (CoMA), is an organisation facilitating new-music making opportunities for non-professional and aspiring musicians.
They are looking for 14-18 year old curious musicians, performers and sound explorers from across the UK, who would like to find their fellow music lovers and try something completely new!
mysounds will run from October 2023 – March 2024 and involve monthly online workshops and 3 weekend intensives in different locations across the country.
Participants will explore creative approaches to composition and performance, and develop new works to premiere in the 2024 CoMA Festival (March 2024).
The project is entirely free of charge and all travel costs will be provided for participants.
