Exciting news and opportunities from Bedazzle

Firstly, this week we have found out we have been awarded a substantial grant from The Fore Trust, to help us train more of our team up to deliver our programmes and we would love to be able to offer our support to more Wolverhampton schools particularly. We work with the whole school community, including Staff and Parents, supporting with Pastoral Care and the delivery of PSHE programmes for whole classes as well as running interventions for small groups and individual pupils. Some of the interventions we offer include, Drawing and Talking, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Mindfulness programmes.

Our other work includes training for teachers and parents. We are now able to offer schools our ‘Ways to Well-being’ workshop that Music School staff recently undertook, focusing on how we can foster more positive Mental Health and look after our Well-being at these strangest of times. This can be delivered in person or online and can be personalised and tailored to your setting. This works best as a 2 hour session for those planning upcoming INSET days.
We are also looking to run a Youth Mental Health First Aid course, online, in December. This is normally delivered as a 2 day course in person but has been adapted. We are proposing to run this course over 4 twilight sessions (4:30-7:30pm) during the first week of December. This course is accredited by MHFA England and delegates are qualified Mental Health First Aiders by the end of it.
