Wolverhampton’s Youth and Youth Wind Orchestras finished off the Autumn Term with a wonderful Christmas concert in St. John’s Church. Between the two groups they performed a wide range of music, including Handel, Sibelius and Prokofiev, plus film music from Shakespeare in Love and Pirates of the Caribbean. Both groups included some traditional Christmas music, and the audience enjoyed some festive treats during the interval.
All of our ensembles will be performing at the ‘Be Inspired’ linear concerts during 21st, 22nd and 23rd March where younger musicians get the chance to see performances from more advanced groups. Additionally the Youth and Youth Wind Orchestras will hold their pre-tour concert on Friday 14th July 23.
