Each year AYM offer up to £100,000 in grants to exceptional young musicians aged 5-17 in need of financial support. Award winners receive flexible funding of up to £2,000 towards musical costs (like tuition, instrument costs or travel) plus individual support to cater to personal circumstances. This could be anything from mentoring to musical workshops, the chance to observe professional musicians, free tickets to concerts and performance opportunities.
Our key criteria are exceptional musical talent/potential and financial need. Whatever genre the young musician plays, they can evidence their eligibility without having to have taken formal exams.
