EVENING TUITION at the Music School
For children of school age and adult learners alike, WMS will provide out of school, high quality, instrumental or vocal lessons. With FREE loan of an instrument for up to 1 year.

We provide weekly tuition on over 30 different instruments, along with the long term free loan of a musical instrument. Our leadership team regularly offer guidance and support to schools on contracting with parents or subsidising the cost of lessons in school.

Instrument Loan
We provide the long term loan of over 5000 musical instruments, at no extra cost to schools or parents!
Musical Groups
We run 15 progressive bands, orchestras and ensembles out of school, at no extra cost to parents, for children to develop their playing and progress with others.
From September 2024, Wolverhampton Music Service joined a formal collaboration with Dudley Performing Arts Service , SIPS Music Service and Walsall Music Education Service. This formal collaboration is now the overarching Black Country Music Hub led by Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council. It is the legal group of Music Services that will deliver the National Plan for Music Education in the region.
The Hub will deliver against three aims as set out in the National Plan for Music Education (NPME), published in 2022:
- To support schools and other education settings to deliver high-quality music education
- To support young people to further develop their musical interests and talent, including into employment
- To support all children and young people to engage with a range of musical opportunities in and out of school
