Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is at the heart of what we do.
All staff at Wolverhampton Music Service and Music School have an up to date DBS (Disclosure Barring Service, formerly known as CRB). This is renewed every 3 years in line with City Council policy.
Staff are required to complete Safeguarding Training Level One. This is revisited regularly to ensure that all staff are confident with safeguarding requirements and understand their roles and responsibilities.
Partners and visiting musicians are checked and adequate supervision is ensured when working with children and young people.
