Rise Up! The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain with an additional “Come & Play” activity for Musicians Grade 4 and above.

The National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain will be bringing a performance and evening of free events to Warwick Arts Centre on Saturday 4 January. We’d like to see these filled with young people.

The performance is called Rise Up!, and celebrates the power of young people to create change in the world. With music by Shostakovich and Britten, it’s music which defines an era of protest and revolution and it will be a truly inspirational evening.

Our pre-concert NYO Come and Play activity is open to teenage musicians playing at Grade 4 standard or above, and offers a fantastic opportunity to play alongside NYO musicians. Places are FREE to concert ticketholders and you can sign up at nyo.org.uk before 4 December.

Concert tickets are just £5 for under 25s, and adults accompanying musicians taking part in the Come and Play activity can purchase discounted tickets for £15 with the offer code NYOParent.

Our team of NYO Young Promoters from local secondary schools will also host a FREE pre-concert Teen Hangout which provides a welcoming space for young people to find out more about the music.
